British Pattern 1853 rifle musket, manufactured by Tower, and dated 1862. Crown on lock plate behind hammer, with number 25 and British proofs stamped on barrel. What appears to be "BAKER" stamped in small lettering on left side of musket. Plum brown patina over metal surfaces, hairline crack in left side of stock. Percussion nipple has been replaced. Caliber: .577 Serial #: None
