CUT OVERLAY STAND LAMP, white cut to ruby pyriform font with stylized tulips, panels, and punties, brass ribbed stem and double-step marble base with stamped brass ornamentation, No. 2 fine line collar. Fitted with a period set-up comprising a Plume & Atwood No. 2 lip burner, thumbwheel marked "P. &. A. M'FG CO PAT. AUG.11.85", R. B. Magruder patented hinged lamp filling attachment, top marked "PATENTED MAY 24TH 1887.", 7 1/8" stamped shade ring, opaque white ribbed shade with flared top. Non-period lip chimney. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. Second half 19th century. 20 5/8" H to top of shade, 12 1/2" H to top of collar, 5" SQ base. Shade 5 1/2" H, 7" D fitter.
