PANELED OVERSHOT STAND LAMP, ruby font with gilt decoration to cut grooves, cut horizontal ring on upper and lower body and cut vertical grooves dividing the body into panels, brass stem and single-step marble base, brass connector, No. 1 fine line collar. Fitted with a period set-up comprising an E. F. Jones No. 1 lip burner, thumbwheel marked "E. F. JONES. / PATENT. MAY. 4. 1858. / REISSUE. JAN. 11. 1859.", with a Merrill's air director marked "R. S. MERRILL PATENT JUNE 14. 1859", standard 3" stamped shade ring, frosted and engraved Oregon shade with floral pattern. Non-period lip chimney. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. Second half 19th century. 15" H to top of shade, 8 1/4" H to top of collar, 4" SQ base.

Font with a crack and glue at peg, top of stem and connector with short splits and denting, marble with expected wear, collar with two drilled holes and marring, light wear to gilt decoration. Burner coronet lightly dented, remaining components undamaged.
