DECORATED STAND LAMP, opaque white pyriform font with gilt decoration and bird, butterfly, and floral polychrome decorations, opalescent ribbed stem with gilt decorated bands to bottom of stem, brass connector, No. 1 collar. Fitted with an E. F. Jones No. 1 lip burner, thumbwheel marked "E. F. JONES. / PATENT. MAY 4.1858. / REISSUE. JAN 11. 1859.", with a Merrill's air director, marked "R. S. MERRILL PATENT. JUNE 14. 1859.", period lip chimney. Third quarter 19th century. 10" H to top of collar, 4" SQ base.

Undamaged with wear to gilt bands, top of stem with a flake which has gilt decoration applied to it, as made, interior of base with some mold roughness. Burner with some minor corrosion, chimney fitter with normal mold roughness.
