E. MILLER NO. 0 HINGED LIP BURNER, thumbwheel marked "E MILLER PAT JULY 21 1863.", period lip chimney. Fitted on a colorless Ribbed finger lamp, applied handle, No. 1 fine line collar. Third quarter 19th century. Lamp 2 1/2" H to top of collar, 4" D base.

Provenance: From the collection of Abigail and the late Edward Meyer of Plantsville, CT.
Deflector with minor wear and some light interior corrosion, chimney with expected minute flakes/roughness. Lamp undamaged, handle with tiny interior bubbles, as made.
