VARIOUS PATTERN MINIATURE FINGER LAMPS, LOT OF THREE, colorless, each with applied handle, comprising a "FIRE FLY", a "THE LITTLE FAVORITE", and a "MOON LIGHT", each with brass collar, one example with patent information. Each fitted with a string-wick burner and opalescent chimney-shade. Fourth quarter 19th century. 4 1/4" H to top of chimney-shade, 1 7/8" to 2" H to top of collar, 1 1/2" to 1 5/8" D base.
Provenance: From the collection of Abigail and the late Edward Meyer of Plantsville, CT.
Each lamp with a crack to font at a handle terminal. Two chimney-shades undamaged and with normal mold roughness to rims, remaining example with significant cracks, one burner undamaged, remaining two with minor imperfections.
