Description
DECORATED STAND LAMP, opaque white pyriform font with applied red beading, polychrome vintage and gilt decoration, blue Baroque base, brass connector, No. 2 fine line collar. Fitted with a period set-up comprising a Plume & Atwood No. 2 lip burner, thumbwheel marked "P & A PAT.AUG.11.1885", standard 5" stamped shade ring marked "PAT.JULY 29.1873 & MAY 15.1877", acid etched ruby squat-form shade with floral and butterfly pattern, and lip chimney. Third quarter 19th century. 20 1/2" H to top of shade, 13 3/4" H to top of collar, 5 5/8" SQ base. Shade 4 3/4" H, 5" D fitter.
