Description

Fine antique Gem Quality Jadeite covered tripod vessel. Exquisitely carved throughout to depict a foo dog finial to cover and four handles, each wielding a relief ring. Body has a two handle figural dragon head design to each side with relief rings. Has three feet each having a foo mask design. Includes fitted wooden base with silver inlay and silk presentation box. Magnificent deep apple green gem jadeite specimen. 18th/19th century. Measures 3 1/4" height x 2 5/8" width + 7/8" base height (8.2cm x 6.6cm + 2.2cm). Total jade weight of 130 grams.
