Old hand carved Japanese ivory double and triple strand beaded necklace having etched polychromed ivory inro box depicting a maiden and landscape scene with bird, rock formations and rocks having three sections and two compartments. Necklace also holds three netsuke group figures, one of two children with kylin beast costume, the next of child with man holding mask and the last depicting wiseman teaching a yound child. Each figure signed. Necklace measures approx. 40" length (101.6cm). Total ivory weight of 238 grams.
