English, early 20th century. A horse hoof inkwell with a brass lid engraved Sunflower / carried Tom Smith 10 seasons hunting/ the Bramham Moor Hounds. / Died in the hunting field. Oct. 14, 1910 / in his 13th seaon. / Aged 19 years.; ht. 3.5, lg. 6.75 in.
