"WRR" PIERCED SHEET IRON WHALE OIL LANTERN, bail handle, fixed colorless globe embossed "WRR", removable base with spring mechanism and fitted with a ten-panel colorless glass font secured by plastered, underside marked "N.E. GLASS CO. / PATENTED OCT. 24, 1854", No. 1 fine line collar. Fitted with a brass and tin double-tube burner. Third quarter 19th century. 14 7/8" HOA, 18 7/8" H to top of cap, 6 1/4" D base.
