BRASS AND SHEET IRON RAILROAD LANTERN, bail handle, side of base fitted with a James Breckenridge indention for font thumbwheel, marked "PATENT MAR 17 1863", fixed colorless globe with wire guard, removable brass font with spring mechanism to underside of base, No. 2 inset collar. Fitted with an E. Miller wide-wick burner. Third quarter 19th century. 17 1/4" HOA, 12 5/8" H to top of cap, 5 1/8" D base.

Condition
Very good condition with some minor denting, wire guard with some repairs and detachments, font with several repairs to base. Burner undamaged.
