CAST IRON RAILROAD SIGNAL LANTERN, painted black, bail handle, cap marked "ARMSPEAR MFG CO NEW YORK", and "O4B", blue four-part 360 degree fresnal lens, base with four securing holes, as made, removable circular font, wide-wick Badger burner. Late 19th/early 20th century. 14 3/4" H to top of cap, 7 1/2" SQ.
Provenance: The Phillip M. Sullivan estate collection.
Very good condition, some minor paint losses, globe with a shallow chip and spots of wear, burner undamaged.
