DIETZ "PIONEER" SHEET IRON GLOBE MOUNTED TUBULAR STREET LAMP WITH WOODEN CRATE, bail handle, green paint with gold "DIETZ PIONEER" stenciling to cap, base marked "DIETZ NO. 3 GLOBE STREET NEW YORK, U.S.A.", Dietz No. 3 font, colorless globe embossed "DIETZ NO. 3", period Dietz burner. Period street lamp hanging bracket with original wood cone-form insert and a pine shipping crate with stamped "DIETZ PIONEER GLOBE STREET LANTERN". First quarter 20th century. 24" H to top of cap, 11 3/4" W. Bracket 11 1/4" H, 19 1/2" W. Crate 14 1/2" H, 14 1/2" x 27 1/4".

Condition

Very good condition with some minor denting, minor losses to paint and stenciling, small areas of light rust, globe with normal flakes/roughness to rims. Bracket with pitting and light rust, one mounting bracket with a repair, wood with expected imperfect
