PERKINS BRASS MARINE LANTERN, polished, ring handle, 360 degree colorless fresnal lens with vertical wire guards, base with two tie-down rings and underside with a removable brass font, lower edge and font base each with a brass maker's plate marked "M'F'R'D BY PERKINS MARINE LAMP CORPRN. / BROOKLYN - NEW YORK". Fitted with a Bridgeport Leader wide-wick burner. First quarter 20th century. 14 1/4" HOA, 6 1/8" D base.
Provenance: The Phillip M. Sullivan estate collection.
Good condition with minor denting, several minor repairs including to wire guards, cap and base with short splits, lens with two flakes. Burner undamaged.
