SHEET IRON AND BRASS BOW MARINE LANTERNS, LOT OF FIVE, each with wall brackets and four examples with a ring handle, comprising a Wilcox, Crittenden & Co. Inc. with red/ruby fresnal lens, a Perkins Marine Lamp & Hardware Corp. "Perkins" with lavender fresnal lens, and three with colorless fresnal lenses including a Kilborn-Sauer Co., four examples fitted with font and various wide-wick burners. Late 19th and first half 20th century. 7 1/4" to 10 1/2" H to top of covers.
Provenance: The Phillip M. Sullivan estate collection.
Wilcox, Crittenden & Co example in excellent condition, remaining in good to fair condition with expected light denting and imperfections, Perkins with moderate rust and pitting. Burners with minute imperfections.
