Description
Colt Single-Action Army Revolver, Heiser Gunbelt and N. Porter Saddlery Marked Holster. Serial no. 148979, .45 caliber, 4 3/4-inch barrel with two-line Hartford address. Three-line patent dates on frame. Checkered hard rubber grips with Rampant Colt logo. Sold together with fine hand-tooled Mexican loop holster by N. Porter of Phoenix, Arizona. Porter arrived in Phoenix in 1895. Lot also includes size 40 cartridge belt by Heiser, of Denver, Colorado. The Heiser logo on this belt was used between 1919-1955. The Colt revolver was manufactured in 1892. Condition: Good to very good. Metal has been heavily cleaned with only traces of blue remaining in protected areas. Action is tight. Good bore showing some wear. Belt and holster are very good with supple leather. Belt with some scattered light surface checking.
