New Comics #10 (DC, 1936) CGC VF- 7.5 Off-white pages. Dating from the Platinum Age, this is an early issue of the series that became Adventure Comics, lasting nearly fifty years. The cover scene of a Harvard Crimson fan and a Yale Elis rooter is by Whitney Ellsworth. Other prominent artists in the issue include Joe Shuster, Creig Flessel, and Sven Elven. The issue is termed "scarce" by Gerber. Overstreet doesn't list prices for grades above VF! Overstreet 2011 VF 8.0 value = $4,400. CGC census 4/12: 1 in 7.5, 1 higher.
