Description
Fleischer's Animated News Group (Fleischer Studios, 1935). Rare group of authentic in-house newsletters for Max Fleischer's animation studio, with news of the day, fun "gossip" about employees, and art by studio artists like Nick Tafuri, Ed Nolan, and Seymour Knieitel. There are reproductions of these floating around out there, but we can assure you these are the real thing, consigned from the family of a former studio employee. Includes V1#3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12. Average condition is Very Good; although a couple have a small amount of very neatly applied color pencil to the cover images. Includes several Betty Boop and Popeye covers never seen anywhere else.
