Wayne Boring Superboy #1 Cover Re-Creation Painting Original Art (1982). Although Wayne Boring had totally left the comics industry by 1982, his legion of fans wouldn't let him totally divorce himself from the character that he did so much to popularize. A stunning re-creation of the cover for Superboy #1, Boring brings his incredibly recognizable style and flair to this painting. Painted on heavy plywood board, and measuring approximately 20" x 24.5", this piece is in Excellent condition. Signed by the artist at the lower left.
