Black-Forest Flute Clock with 4 Moving Figures, c. 1840
German, weight-driven 22-key movement with pinned wooden barrel for 9 tunes, 22 pipes in 1 rack, brass clockwork mechanism in wood plates, hour strike on bell, paint-decorated dial with Roman numerals, with 4 turning figures in the arch. Hour hand with moon dial. Clockwork mechanism needs cleaning, musical mechanism works but does not release automatically.
