German Musical Manivelle Automaton with a Musician and a Dancer, c. 1900
Both figures with bisque heads and open mouths, fixed blue glass eyes and original mohair wigs, the musician strumming a guitar as the dancer turns in a circle, girl in original satin costume, musician suitably redressed in antique silk brocade, on paper-covered base containing hand-turned cylinder movement playing one air, height 15 in. (38 cm), one replaced foot on base.

Beide Puppen mit Biskuitporzellanköpfen, mit offenen Mündern, feststehenden Augen und Original-Mohairperücken. Der Musiker zupft mit der rechten Hand die Gitarre und dreht den Kopf von links nach rechts, während die "Tänzerin" im Kreis tanzt. Das Mädchen trägt Original-Seidenkleidung, die Kleidung des Musikers ist aus altem Seidenbrokat passend ergänzt. Auf papierbezogenem Holzsockel mit Musikwerk (1 Holzfuß ergänzt). Handkurbelantrieb, Gesamthöhe: 38 cm. - Sehr attraktives Sammlungsstück!
