Trenton, New Jersey Chippendale walnut tall case clock, ca. 1775, having a broken arch bonnet with boldly carved floral rosettes, encasing an eight-day painted dial movement over a narrow waist with a scalloped top door flanked by quarter columns, over a raised panel base supported by ogee feet, retaining an old, if not original, surface, 96'' h.
Rosettes screwed on. Small chip to base of one finial. Small losses and cracks to base panel. Nice old untouched surface.
