Gordon Cooper: Gemini 5 Launch Vehicle Team Plaque from the Family's Collection. A shield-shaped wooden plaque with overall dimensions of 6.375" x 8.875" x 0.625". Beneath a 3.875" diameter Gemini logo decal is a 5" x 1.875" plate engraved with the test: "To Colonel L. Gordon Cooper/ in Appreciation for Completing/ GT-5 Eight Day Mission after the/ Fine Sendoff Provided by the/ Gemini Launch Vehicle Team/ 6555th Aerospace Test Wg (USAF)" Gemini 5 was Cooper's second and last spaceflight. He and Pete Conrad spent a then-record eight days in orbit. Fair condition with some scratching and soiling.
