The featured sapphire is set within a diamond bezel supported by sapphire set shoulders, completed by a two millimeter wide band. Bright polish finish. Trademark is DK. Identified with markings of “14K”. Containing: One prong set oval mixed cut natural blue sapphire 6.45 x 6.44 x 2.45mm, approximate weight of 0.63., clarity is eye clean, type II, very dark, very slightly grayish, violetish blue color, (GIA Vb 8/3), cut is good. Transmitting light with no distortion, transparent. Partial color zoning present. The stone displays 40% extinction. Graded in the setting. Eight channel set square cut natural blue sapphires, measuring 2.00 x 1.80 x 0.00mm, approximate total weight of 0.41ct., clarity is slightly included, type II, very dark, very slightly grayish, violetish blue color, (GIA Vb 8/3), cut is good. Transmitting light with a minimum of distortion, transparent to translucent. Naturally occurring internal & external characteristics are preset, including some partial color zoning.
