Oriental metalware vessel in the form of a boy riding on a fish. The fish has inlaid gilt metalwork as does the figure of the boy, there is a lotus flower head stopper in the back of the fish and the mouth of the fish is the pourer. Measurements: Height: 13 inches, Width: 14 inches This would appear to be a Chinese bronze of the 19th century. The iconography used in this piece would indicate that it was given for achievement and used as a libation vessel.
