Crisp $7 1/2 “U. S. Flag with 13 Stripes and Union Jack”

April 2, 1776, $7 1/2, “U. S. Flag with 13 Stripes and Union Jack” vignette, Choice Crisp Extremely Fine.
One of the better and more impressive example of this scarce, popular denomination and vignette we have encountered. Three huge margins, the top being full and clear, surrounding this note. Well printed and fairly clean, the signatures a bit light, having a 1/2” bottom edge tear near middle which is reinforced on the blank reverse with a small piece of old paper tape, and having a few typical scattered notations. Decorated with an important “Flag” vignette.
