These chairs are fine representations of the Sheraton period. The stepped up crest rail has nicely carved swags over four carved columns on the back rising to carved fans. The nicely covered seats sit over finely carved reeded legs with acanthus carving at the top and button feet. Boston, c. 1810. H 36” | W 20” | D 16.75”
