Description

Second half 19th century, the clock signed to dial ''Raingo Fres / A Paris'', the movement signed ''Raingo Fres / A Paris'' and ''2727'', with a classically draped woman reclining against a naturalistically surfaced circular case enclosing a circular white enamel dial with blue Roman numeral chapters within glazed bezel, on an integral base over a stepped rectangular plinth with rounded corners on rocaille supports, together with a pair of five-light candelabra, each stamped ''L. Picard'', each modeled as a cherub holding a bouquet of flowers, 3 pcs, the clock, 14.5'' H x 20'' W x 7.5'' D, est:$3000/5000

Condition

The candelabra, each: 23'' H. General marks and scratches. Each piece recently re-gilt. Glass of rear door to clock case missing. Movement lacking bell and pendulum. The standards of candelabra possibly broken off and re-attached. One drip pan missing. Working condition of clock unknown. Moran's does not guarantee working condition of clocks and watches.
