Mid 19th century, the movement signed ''Barwise / London'', the dial unsigned, the circular white enamel dial with Roman numeral chapters within a glazed circular bezel, within a cube-shaped marble case on a relief-decorated gilt bronze base beside a patinated bronze figure of a classical warrior, over a rectangular marble plinth, 22'' H x 16.5'' W x 8'' D, est:$1500/2500. Condition

General light marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with age and use. Minor nicks to marble plinth along edges. Lacking rear door of clock case. Lacking a decorative element that was originally mounted to top of case- not retained, small filled holes to top of case remain. A crack to rear of case extending its full width. Pendulum present. Retains key. Working condition unknown. Moran's does not guarantee working condition of clocks and watches.
