Merovingian Frankish Bronze Chatelaine Pendant
Circa 6th-7th century AD. A cast bronze openwork disc with pierced lug to the perimeter; the centre formed as six expanding spokes each with a rectangular hole to the outer end; the rim, hub and spokes featuring ring-and-dot ornament.
