An undated ornate, hollow-cast gilt bronze dragon's head censer cover with highly detailed facial features, the mouth open with teeth exposed, finely incised texturing to eyebrows and beard, the neck with dragon motif, vertical crest on crown of head. From an important collection of Chinese animal figures, London, UK; acquired prior to 1975. Gilt-bronze, 505 grams, 105 mm (4").
