Description

[Chaucer (Geoffrey)] Two leaves on vellum from the Kelmscott Chaucer,

single folded vellum sheet (pp. 423-426, from 'The Legend of Goode Wimmen'), printed in Chaucer type with two lines and one side-title in red, with 2 wood-engraved illustrations designed by Edward Burne-Jones and 3 wood-engraved borders, 2 large initials and several smaller initials by William Morris, preserved in later cloth portfolio titled in gilt on upper cover (mentioning 4 leaves rather than 4 pages), a little rubbed and faded, folio, Kelmscott Press, 1896.
