A George III silver key wind open face pair case pocket watch, the white dial with black letter hour markers spelling out the name "Thomas Mercer", all surrounded by a minute track, circular shaped case, hallmarked London 1809, fitted with a full plate fusee and chain movement with verge escapement, pierced balance cock, signed Whitehead of Stratford. Inner case diameter 49mm. Outer case is missing.
Thomas Mercer pocket watch, key wind movement is not currently functioning, few tiny marks to the dial, area of damage to the edge of the dial near the one o'clock marker, tiny marks to the hands, the glass is scratched and scuffed, tarnishing and medium scratches to the case, few small dents to the case, tiny dints to the pendant.
