Description

A decorated enamel key wind stone set open face pocket watch signed Fres Deroche, Geneve, the white enamel dial with Arabic numeral hour markers surrounded by an outer minute track with Arabic divisions, decorated case, the bezel and back bordered with white stones, the back additionally decorated with an enamel painting of a country scene, fitted with a signed gilt full plate fusee and chain movement, with verge escapement and pierced, decorated balance bridge. Case diameter 50mm.

Condition

An enamel key wind pocket watch, movement is currently functioning, tiny marks on the dial, a few small scratches, small chips around the winding aperture between one and two o'clock, small chips and areas of discolouration at the edge of the dial, small marks and discolouration on the hands, the glass is scratched, some of the scratches may polish out, deeper marks may remain, glass would benefit from a clean, a few tiny chips, case has medium and heavy scratches, some of the white stones are missing, crown beginning to show signs of wear.
