A possibly George III gilt key wind pair case pocket watch signed Aldby, Lincoln, the white enamel dial with hourly applied Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track, plain round cases, fitted with a signed gilt full plate fusee and chain movement with verge escapement and pierced balance cock. Case diameter 48mm.
Gilt pocket watch, key wind movement is currently functioning, tiny marks to the dial with areas of cracking between eight and nine and eleven and twelve o'clock, tiny marks to the hands, the glass is scratched with nicks to the edge, heavy rubbing to the gilt to both the inner and outer cases and pendant.
