Biography: * Poch Romeu (1935- ) was born in Barcelona, and began painting at an early age. He studied at the Escola d'Arts I Oficis. After completing courses, he went on to study set design at Institut del Teatre, and developed a keen insight into depth and perspective. He pursued his own artistic endeavors in lithography, airbrush, and serigraphy, and by the age of 18 was a graphic artist. He later went on to become the artistic director of a graphic design firm, becoming fairly successful. After this he focused on his art. His style is both impressionistic and realistic, with an emphasisi on light and composition. His art became widely recognized in its appreciation of realistic beauty, and is widely collected today.
