AMERICAN EMPIRE MAHOGANY CHEST OF DRAWERS, C. 1830, H 44", L 40", D 20":Having 2 small drawers above 2 half drawers and 3 full size drawers, all have stamped gilt metal knobs; 6 drawers have locks with escutcheons. The lower drawers are flanked by turned full columns with turned legs. Actual dimensions are 44" x 40 1/2" x 19 3/4".
Many old repairs in the upper right corner, upper left corner and the top edge. Has been refinished. BD
