Empire-Style Fruitwood and Marble-Top Pedestal Table, early 20th century, the circular verde antico marble top within a brass banding, above a conforming frieze with applied Empire-style ormolu mounts, raised on three tapering square legs joined by a tripartite stretcher and ending in ormolu paw feet, h. 30-1/2", dia. 15-1/2".
There is some looseness to the stretcher and one of the underside angle iron brackets is loose and lacking its screws. There is a small drill hole in the center of the stretcher where there was once a finial. Minor dings tot he legs from age & use. The marble top is fine.
