Copeland Tinted Parian Figure, 1865, after Matthew Noble, marketed at the Crystal Palace Art Union, fully signed, the original sculpted in 1864, the piece depicts a young woman with downcast eyes, holding a lily at her breast (a symbol of a vow of chastity), the border of her gown and lily lightly tinted pink and lavender, h. 17-1/2", dia. 5".
