Description

American School (Mid-19th Century) "Primitive Portrait of a Girl in a Black Dress Holding a White Rose, Mountains Visible in the Distance", oil on canvas, 29" x 24", unsigned. Framed.

Condition

In professionally restored condition. Scattered inpainting repairs to face, neck, hair, chest, hand, and background. The canvas has been relined and it appears there is a small repaired tear to the side of the right cheek.
