E-149 Baden Leib - Grenadier Regiment 109 Other Ranks silver helmet plate. Crowned winged griffin holding a sword and state shield. With ribbon "MIT GOTT F. FUERST U. VATERLAND". A silver starburst bearing the Baden Order of Fidelity is imposed on the chest of the griffin. Reverse has two screw posts. 4" x 7" - convex in shape. Overall shows an aged patina. Extremely rare - only worn by one regiment. II
