Two rose medallion strainer, China, 19th century, one with flared rim and interior painted with scrolling peonies and cartouches of peony blossoms and birds, the exterior top and bottom borders with various flowers, together with similarly decorated base, other with flared rims and tri-colored pierced sides is painted with alternating cartouches of figures and of flowers and butterflies, the exterior painted with flowers, the underplate is similarly decorated, approximately 4"h x 9".
