English Victorian Carved Mahogany Circular Dining Table, c. 1870, on acanthus carved tapered legs to large brass casters, with two leaves, H.- 28 1/2 in., Dia.- 64 in., W.- Open- 103 1/2 in.

Condition

Table is 188 3/4" when fully extended though there are not enough leaves to accommodate this size. One leaf appears to be original but 2nd leaf has non matching skirt and wood grain. There appears to be damage to the finish of the second leaf as well. One small patch appears to be an early professional repair to surface of table. This is an exceptionally impressive piece when open.
