Taxidermied Bird Display, 19th c., with seven specimens, in a shadowbox with a faux bois gesso frame, H.- 18 1/4 in., W.- 21 3/4 in., D.- 7 1/4 in.
Condition consistent with age. Would benefit from cleaning. One feather broken on tail of blue finch. Hummingbird now unmounted and resting at bottom of shadow box. Glass is spotted and dirty at interior. Frame shows minor section of loss. Piece would benefit from cleaning and remounting. A curious display.
