The gilt, ebonized tooled leather veneered casket form fitted with wrought iron strapwork, a hinged hasp fastening into a squared shaped lockplate, the sides of the arch form top with tooled Renaissance style medallions of a male and a female, the front of box incorporating full length figures of a husband and a wife enclosed within an arch frame, the sides with rosette medallions, the interior fitted in Renaissance style material with heraldic figures. 19th Century.
