Description

This clock is wood, with wonderfully detailed brass plate decoration, including a scene with horses and valiant rider. The case is wood, with rectangular base, and octagonal case, with an ornamental facade. The base has a drawer on the side for storage. Two keys are included, for the movement and the chimes. Lion heads with rings are on either side of the case. The bezel is brass tone, with scroll and leaf pattern, and there is a hinged glass cover. The dial is porcelain, with black Roman numerals. There are a few light hairlines, and a chip near the edge at the six, overall it looks bright and fine. The movement is running. It chimes with a small bell, although it is a half hour off, and needs some adjustment. The size of the dial is 3 1/2 inches in diameter. The overall dimensions are 14 x 6 1/4 x 17 1/2 inches. * The horse scene really makes this clock special, and it look beautiful in your home.
