AN EXTREMELY FINE SET OF THREE IVORY, GOLD AND GEM STONE MOUNTED ELEPHANTS, SRI LANKA, 20TH CENTURY. The diminutive graduated figures realistically carved and overlaid with 20-22 karat tooled gold (unstamped) saddle cloths as outfitted for a wedding procession, each containing approximately 50 semi-precious gemstones of various size including rubies, emeralds and sapphires. Height 1.75 inches (4.5 cm) to 2.75 inches (7 cm).
