Boston - 581600, has lever escapement, rack and snail strike mechanism, strikes a coiled gong. Mahogany case has typical banjo form with fluted tapering bracket, teardrop finial, turned presentation spheres, brass eagle finial, brass bezel and pierced brass side arms; reverse painted throat glass, reverse painted Mt. Vernon door glass. Movement is in good running condition, case is original finish and good condition, glasses are original and in very good condition with no losses or inpainting. 30 in. high
