Dore bronze mantle clock depicts Amor as a teacher; the young winged figure of cupid stands on one foot using an arrow to point to a framed picture on the top of the clock case, the picture shows the letter A above cupid shooting an arrow, on the other side of the case is a torchier with flames burning in the top, along with a bow and quiver of arrows. The case is embellished with fancy mounts including baskets of flowers, hanging strands of garland, wreaths, quivers of arrows, a bow and more torchieres.
